This is a Christmas story that you wrote and now it comes back to youto bring smiles on your faces.

It will also bring tears in your eyes because I know you can not stay

untouched seeing 300 poor children smiling for Christmas.

Everything was possible because of you, because of all you donated

and offered with so much love.

I bring this story every year back to you, to let you know that you

really made a difference in the world of some children that without

you would have never known how it is to receive a present for

Christmas.

You brought their childhood back, even if for only few days and I can

assure you that these memories will last longer in their lives than

anything else. I know this for sure because I was there and they putthis joy and innocence in my arms to bring them back to you.

They will always remember the first car, doll, pencil, notebook, game

they got from Santa Claus and this will bring a smile on their faces

forever. And they are able now to do this because you were their

Santas.

I have not enough words to THANK YOU so I let them do it below

Santa Claus was well prepared for his trip to Romania. His sack was

full of presents, beautifully packed and prepared with a lot ofenthusiasm, fun, care, emotions and soul.

Santa has been carrying in his bag not only gifts but also hopes,

wishes, smiles, good thoughts and love for the children.

You can see here how generous you were.

My house again full with toys and joy!

It took two transports like this to bring all the presents and donations

to Romania. It was quite a challenge this year, never before so much.

Every year the project gets bigger and bigger thanks to you!

Shopping for food in Romania

From your financial contributions, all children have received a bag

with food for their Christmas dinner.

Five days before Christmas, Santa travelled with his big bag full oftoys. We went from one village to another and when necessary we

went to find the children in their homes. I can assure you that no

present was left behind.

student now, determined to study.

However, due to the difficult financial

situation, his father decided not to let him

continue going to the city for school.

A little girl praying while waiting for Santa to call her name to receive

her present. She wasnt sure she will receive anything so she was

praying while the other children were receiving their presents.

Her present was the last one to distribute. I can only imagine what

was in her soul until the end Santa was super generous as a reply

Mondays are the happiest days for some of them, just because they

get to eat after a long, hungry weekend

A little pray to thank for the food

All the hugs received from the children to thank us for helping Santa

bringing the presents from Belgium, Luxembourg and Maastricht.

Who could stay without crying seeing such innocence and pure joy?

This boy with a brain tumour without big chances of survival. The doctors in

Romania say he has very little time left. He wanted with all his heart to learn to

play the guitar this year.

From your donations I bought him his dream guitar that will give him so much

happiness and joy for the months to come.

I also hope to bring him to Belgium for a medical check. I can't loose the hope

that there is still a chance for him

These 2 children have a very special situation: their

mother died and their father is rarely at home. Their

older sister, Ionela of 14 years old, is taking care of

the 3 younger brothers and sisters. Ionela, besides

taking the role of a mother at such a young age, is

also a brilliant student at school.

Together with AXIOS, a voluntary organisation, we

managed to offer Ionela the financial support neededto let the household work apart.

Ionela will receive a monthly scholarship to pay for

household help.

She is a wonderful girl that got into the adults' world

too soonWe might be able to offer her a better

future by helping her to concentrate on school.

All the phone calls that I received from parents to ask me how did we

know what the children wanted It seems that all the gifts contained

everything the children wished for this Christmas I was always left

speechless when hearing these stories from the parents and I could

only wonder what inspiration you all had in preparing the presents

From your financial contributions I will continue helping the childrenwhen there is need for intervention: medical consultations,

medicines to be bought, school appliances, other special needs.

I will keep you informed with everything I do to help the children in

your names.

If you consider helping your "adopted" child more, please let me

know and I will find all the relevant information for you.

For March, as the Romanian tradition says, we are wearing the

Martisor.

I have received from Romania many martisoare to raise money for

the children. If you are interested, just let me know.

For April, I will prepare packages with food for the children to offer

them a better Eastern meal.

For next Christmas, Santa will need again your assistance. I will knock

on your door in his name for another edition ofBe Santa Claus- Make

a Child Smile for this Christmas I hope you will be next to me and

the children again, and may we be able to make even more of them

smile this year.
