Roller Skate - The Solids - Complete Transport Kits

Range of Application:

• For snort, variable transportation distances. • Movement of moderately neavy loads, e. g. macnines, parts of macnlnes and for installation works

• A speed of 5 rn/min sMuid not be exceeded • It 15 possible ta turn corners by placing turntables on top of tne Raller Skates. Handles nave ta be attacned but only guide tne load wnile tne Raller Skates are moving.

• Minimum turnlng clrcle is 3 m

Hints on Use:

• Ali maximum carrying capacities are based for use on a steel surface, wnicn witnstands tne pressure Of tne cnain·roller. For safety, tne carrying capacltles in complete sets are calculated 50 tnat 2 Raller Skates could support tne fuil load on uneven surfaces

• Tne track surface is important for tne safe transportation of tne load, not tne carrying capacity of tne Raller skate. Tlles are unsuitable. Movement on tarmac and concrete is restricted. In tnese cases it is recommended ta put a steel plate of a minimum of 10 mm tnickness underneatn.

• Possible problems can be avoided by cnoosing Raller Skate models witn larger dlameter rollers in tne cnain.

• Visual control for tne alignment and direction of tne load 15 made easier by Inserting tne angle Iron into tne slots provided on tne Raller Skate.

• Tne difference in neignt of skates witn turntables is compensated for by tne use of packlng plates.

Raller Skate Express - The Solids

Range of Application:

• For short variable ways of transportation • Movement of moderatelY heavy loads, e.g. machines,

parts of machines and for instaliation worKs • A speed of 5 m/min should not be exceeded • Aliows ta turn corners by swivelling. Turntables are

placed on top of the sKate, handles are ta be attached. OnlY guide with the handle, while the Raller SKate is moving. Minimum turning circle is 3 m

• The difference in height of sKates with the turntables is compensated for by the use of pacKing plates

• Easy visual control for the alignment and direction of the load 15 made by inserting the angle Iron into the slots provided on the Raller SKate

Characteristics of the most sold series Express ModeL .. N :

• stable, sOlid, basic construction • low level construction • Accessories for turning corners

Hints on Use:

• The tracK surface is important for the safe transportation of the load, not the carrying capa city of the Rolier SKate. Tiles are insufficient. The movement on tarmac and concrete is restricted. In these cases a steel plate of a minimum of 10 mm thicKness is recommended.

• Possible problems can be avoided by choosing Rolier sKate models with a larger rolier diameter within the chain.

• Ali maximum carrying capacities are based for use on a steel surface, which withstands the high pressure of the chain-roliers. For safety, the carrying capacities on complete sets are calculated 50 that on uneven surfaces 2 Rolier skates could support the full load.

Roller Skate - The Robusts and The Supe .... Robusts

Hints on Use:

• Ta select suitable Skate - determine details of the rail track or determine dimension 'X', where dimension 'X' is the distance between the Inner edge of guide rollers and the centre of the Raller Skate .

• Ta select suitable arrangement of guide rollerlSl: - If parallelism of beams or rails is uncertain, it is advis

able ta locate the guide raller on one profile edge only and then employ 4 guide rollers on each Skate IFR-EI

- If parallelism is assured it 15 sufficient ta use 2 guide rollers on each Skate (FR-CI, bearlng on bath tracks.

Characteristics of the guide rollers _ o . FR:

• Robust, almost maintenance free; welded construction able ta maintain a defined direction

• Made ta measure according to customers' requlrements and/or the specifie track

• Minimum specification for Skates: hardened centre plate.

• If lateral guide rollers cannat be mounted due ta space limitations, the use of lead rollers, mounted ln front of (or behlndl the Skate ta suit the partlcular rail 15 recommended (see photo page 201.

• Position of fixing hales in top plate of Skate can be arranged ta suit customers' requirement.

• If the hexagonal head Of small guide roller splndle for modei l-illv creates spa ce problems, construction can be mOdifled.

• For model IIlv there 15 also the option of large guide rollensl

• Maximum speed: 5 m/mln
