UNBC Wins Silver Spot in Maclean’s ranking Be Proud Prince George In the 22 nd annual Maclean’s magazine rankings, UNBC is the second-highest ranked small university in Canada which reminds us just how much we have to be proud of. Don’t believe the negativity – Prince George is developing into a national business, health, transportation and education hub. We have so much to be proud of in our city, such as the new Cancer Centre for the North and the soon-to-be-opened Kordyban Lodge, providing world-class treatment and care for cancer patients across the region, as well as top-knotch education and recreation facilities, a thriving arts and entertainment sector and some of the most spectacular and diverse scenery and wildlife in the world. And let’s not forget the people who make this one of the friendliest places to live. So let’s write our own story about our wonderful city, rather than let others portray us unfairly. Share this message with your friends, neighbours, relatives and business contacts. It’s time to be proud, Prince George. At The Citizen, we’re proud of our partnerships with businesses and institutions in the community, as we all work together to make Prince George the best city it can be.
