CREDIT FOR EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGEWhether it’s in the form of college courses taken elsewhere,

Learning Assessment (PLA) will help award college credit based on

your associate degree to a public, four-year institution in the state of

Indiana. Once you transfer and meet the receiving institutions’ admissions

requirements, you will be awarded junior status. Program options include:

Transfers that WorkHIGHER EDUCATION STARTS AT IVY TECHGet a jump start on your bachelor’s degree by earning an associate

degree at Ivy Tech. It’s the most affordable way to achieve your goal in

Indiana, and more than 25,000 students transfer credits and/or credentials

annually. As tuition fees and student debt amounts continue to increase,

ASAP PROGRAMWith programs like Ivy Tech’s Associate Accelerated Program (ASAP),

you can earn your associate degree in just 11 months. This accelerated

program is for recent high school graduates or students younger than

IVYHONORS PROGRAMIvyHonors is a two-year honors program,

offered at certain Ivy Tech locations,

designed for highly motivated students—

preparing them for coursework at top

colleges and universities. Honors students

enter into a tight-knit community of like-minded peers where they are

provided with extra support as well as a dedicated honors advisor. By

the end of the program, you will earn an associate degree and have

the opportunity to transfer to a top school to complete your bachelor’s

degree in just two more years.

2+2 TRANSFER AGREEMENTS2+2 Transfer Agreements are seamless transfer from Ivy Tech’s

two-year associate degree programs to four-year degree programs.

their Statewide Transfer General Education Core

(STGEC) and earn a 30-hour core of general
