history

The foundation for today’s successful

company was laid by Josef Jansen in the

st. Gallen rhine valley in switzerland in

1923. The small workshop developed

into an international high-tech company.

Its pioneering spirit has been retained.

Jansen has strong roots and is open to

the world, it is firmly grounded and

future-oriented. We work with what has

been tried-and-tested and at the same

time allow space for new and inspiring

ideas.

The Group

The Jansen Group is entirely family-

owned. The workforce numbers about

one thousand internationally, including

about sixty apprentices. Jansen has

offices and distributors worldwide.

In addition to Jansen AG Oberriet (Ch),

the Jansen Group includes Jansen Gmbh

Dingelstädt (DE), Jansen Gmbh Essen

(DE) and distributors in shanghai (Cn) and

Istanbul (Tr).

doors and facades in steel and stainless

steel. Form and function are designed in

perfect unity for bespoke architectural

solutions.

In switzerland and the Principality of

Liechtenstein Jansen holds the exclu-

sive licence from schüco for the entire

range of window, door and facade

systems in aluminium, wood/metal

and plastic.

Precision in series. We develop and prod-

uce rolled and drawn precision steel

tubes and sections for various industrial

applications using tailor-made materials

and processes. Jansen products are

part of a sophisticated overall solution,

especially so in the automotive industry.

Intelligent plastic systems. Versatile

customer solutions for water and gas

supply, heating, air-conditioning and

sanitary installations, as well as geo-

thermal applications, guarantee long-

term reliability, safety and economy

even under extreme conditions.

The Jansen Group comprises the Building systems, steel Tubes and Plastic solutions divisions. Jansen is one of the leading suppliers in these three fields of competence. Together they make up the Jansen brand.
