NEW BD AGREEMENTS MAKE APPOINTMENT EASY.

OLD WAY. NEW WAY FOR BDs ONLY.Get an IGA agreement signed for Banner and/or William Penn.

AND

Complete a BK22 to set up the institution under the BGA hierarchy.

AND

Fill out 2-page BK10 form.

OR

Fill out 2-page BK14 form.

AND THEN

LGA completes background check.

AND THEN

LGA asks for proof of E&O; BGA provides.

AND THEN

For UL business, LGA asks for proof of AML training; BGA provides. Proof required every two years.

PLUS

Reports didn’t exist for BD sales, making it hard to add life insurance purchases to client profiles.

If an agreement already exists with the financial institution:

Provide identification basics on the half-page BK23. No signature required. LGA relies on the BD’s compliance with the FINRA guidelines to eliminate redundancies.

If an institutional agreement does not exist:

Get an IGA agreement signed for Banner and/or William Penn. Ask the firm to complete the one-page BK24 to set up the institution under the BGA hierarchy.

Appointment cycle-time reduced by approximately 10 days.

The agreements are durable and cover the addition and subtraction of any new distributor, changes in compensation and producers. This reduces the need to complete addenda and gather future signatures.

OTHER ADVANTAGES OF NEW AGREEMENTS:• Supporting DTCC feeds that provide positions,

commissions, appointments, and financial reporting • Completing appointments using the new BK23 forms will

increase accuracy of the compensation and updates to BDs and reps

• Access to eSignature AppAssist, Getmore (ie. independent financial review up to $2M), and eDelivery that can save 10-12 days upfront and 12 days on the delivery.
