This Week in ELA-R with Ms. Davis & Ms. Yap

Note to Parents: This week we are introducing our final Literature Circle project— Book Talks! Students will be using Animoto next week to create their own Book Talk – a short video that persuades the audience to read a particular book. Students are encouraged to bring headphones and their own laptops (if they have one). We will also be providing laptops (but not headphones). Most work will be done in class. However, there is a possibility that some work will have to be done at home in order to meet the deadline. This is dependent on how efficiently students work and if they are on-task. This will be a project grade (15%). Students will have to turn in their video and organizer. They will be showing their final product to the class. Book Talks are due November 16th/17th.
