The BCM-5000: ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems(BCMS) Expert Implementer is an advanced level Business ContinuityManagement (BCM) course that is primarily designed for advanced levelprofessionals who has a highdegree of exposure to and understanding ofBCM, such as Business Continuity (BC) managers, planners, and projectmanagers. It is the institute’s most comprehensive BCM course which isalso suitable for those who are new to BCM or intend to embark on his/herBCM professional career.

The workshop curriculum will enable participants to get a thoroughunderstanding of the 7 BCM Body of Knowledge (BCMBOK) for BCMpractitioners. It is a globally recognized methodology for theimplementation and maintenance of BCM programs.

On completion of the course, participants will be able to acquire the skillsand understanding to be able to drive complex BCM programs and projectsfor the entire organisation.

The qualifying BCCE examination done on the last day of a BCM-400 or a BCM-5000 course is a half day 150 Multiple ChoiceQuestions (MCQ) electronic based examination.The examination which lasts for 3.5 hours would need candidates to achieve a75% passing grade.

The Business Continuity Certified Expert (BCCE) certification is designed to instill pertinent concepts andknowledge in BCM practitioners. Certified professional would be able to drive organizational- wide BCMprograms, develop BCM strategies, develop and implement comprehensive BCM plans and implement BCMawareness and training programs. They will also be able to conduct exercises and tests and implementBCM audit and assessment programs to ensure BCM plan effectiveness. This certification is most suited forBC managers, planners and project managers.

BCCE applicants are required to complete and pass the qualifying BCCE examination attached to the BCM-430: ISO 22301 BusinessContinuity Management Systems Manager or to BCM-5000: ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems Expert Implementer

Applicants who would like to apply for the BCCE certification needs to furnish BCM Institute with the BCCE certification applicationfees of SGD150.This can be paid via Paypal, AMEX, Cheque (drawn from a Singapore bank), Telegraphic Transfer, Bank Transfer or Cash.

Once BCM Institute Certification Department has ascertain that they have received the complete BCCE application form andprocessing fees, application would be sent to an independent review board that would assess the applicants’ eligiblilty for thecertification applied for. The process may take about 4 – 8 weeks before an applicant is awarded the relevant certification.

BCCE applicants should have at least 3 years of Business Continuity (BC) professional experience.

They should be able to demonstrate this experience via an application form that would allow them to showcase at least 5 of theBCM BoK.

The experience should be backed by 2 referees that should be the applicant’s colleagues (not subordinate), clients or superiors.

Candidates who lack the pre requisite 3 years’ experience may opt to apply for a specialist certification (BCCS) or plannercertification (BCCP).
