Share Your MusicLast season, the Open Stage meetings were a huge success. Take advantage of a unique opportunity to play in front of a hand-clapping audience on selected Saturday evenings at Hope Presbyterian Church in Baltimore. All levels of classical guitar players are welcome to play, or, you can just come to mingle and listen to others.

BCGS EnsembleThe BCGS ensemble is always welcoming new members! Composed of mostly non-professional guitarists, this unique group performs under the baton of distinguished guitarist and music professor Ronald Pearl. Typically they perform at least twice a season. Rehearsals are weekly at Loyola College; see bcgs.org, OPPORTUNITIES.

“The Hungarian Katona twins... are stunning: full of the flair, drama and passion.” (BBC Radio 3)

Hungarian born Peter and Zoltán Katona make up the Katona Twins, a guitar duo which has given recitals throughout the world. The twins have won numerous prizes, both individually and together. In 1998 they won the Concert Artists Guild Competition held in New York, and in 1997 they were winners at the Young Concert Artist Trust auditions in London.

From the age of ten the twins have studied both individually and as a guitar duo in Budapest, Frankfurt, and at the Royal Academy of Music in London. During their studies they benefitted from classes with Julian Bream and John Williams. The Katona Twins have been invited on numerous occasions to record for the BBC and other international television and radio stations.
