BlackBerry provides best-in-class security, productivity and communications to enterprises around the globe. We continue to execute against our corporate plans that will allow us to grow and prosper.

The information in a recent Info-Tech Research Group report is outdated and inaccurate.

The reality is that BlackBerry’s new leadership team has redefined our enterprise strategy and put us on the path to success.

Don’t believe the hype. Workers are still demanding their BlackBerry devices back in the workplace. However, while companies might be shifting toward BYOD, it doesn't mean they need to abandon BlackBerry. And, it doesn’t mean companies are moving off BlackBerry’s multi-platform management solution.

BlackBerry manages Android, iOS, BlackBerry and eventually Windows Phone devices. With BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES10), enterprises can now give their employees the opportunity to use any device, while managing them securely via BES10 and Secure Work Space.  Customers are looking forward to future BlackBerry devices, including the BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Classic, as well as features including BlackBerry Assistant, the Amazon Appstore and up to 25 hours of battery life.

BlackBerry’s viability is not in question, as CEO John Chen has said that the Company expects to be profitable by FY 2016. BlackBerry also has a considerable amount of cash on hand, something that our competitors can’t say.

We’re investing in our future – and the future of our customers – by making key strategic moves, including:• The launch of BES12, a new platform

that will enable customers to move beyond EMM to manage all the other “things” in the Internet of Things.

• Signing an agreement to acquire Secusmart to further enhance our security voice and data encryption and anti-eavesdropping capabilities.

• Investment in NantHealth to transform the delivery model of health-care to patients.

Info-Tech Research Group uses an outdated and out of context quote from CEO John Chen. Today BlackBerry is firmly on track to deliver on its financial objectives and commitments.

“We’re a viable company, we have a strong balance sheet, we have lots of cash, and now we are starting to focus on growth.”

– John Chen, CEO of BlackBerry Bloomberg, June 19, 2014
