We have completed the first month

of 2015, and it has been a great

few weeks! We have seen people

saved throughout the month, and

have had at least one person

baptized every Sunday in January!

We have had many new visitors,

prospective new families, and

much better attendance than last January, as the

weather has not been nearly as bad as last winter...so

far! We have already had some great memories as we

have been reminiscing in the bulletin each week about

the past years of ministry and highlighting some of our

history. These pictures and memories remind us afresh

and anew about just how much we have been blessed at

Bible Baptist Church. Please don’t ever take for granted

what God has done for us! It is not like this everywhere,

and we need to be continually thankful for the spirit, the

stewardship, and the servant heartedness of our

congregation. God is so good!

This month we will continue our 20th Anniversary

Speaker Series with our friend, Pastor Tom Wagoner,

from Dunn, North Carolina. Pastor Wagoner first came

to our church just a few years ago to preach a Fall

Revival. He is a great man of God, and he has a special

way of bringing God’s Word to churches. He and his

wife, Teri, will be with us all day on Sunday, February

8th. Let’s make this an all-out effort to fill the church

that Sunday, and hear what God has placed on his heart

for our congregation. It will be a blessed day.

I am excited about the transition for our Wednesday

night ministries. I have heard good comments about the

new format, especially from choir and orchestra

members. This new schedule allows them a longer

Sunday afternoon with their families, as well as making

the music more fresh in their hearts and minds before the

next Sunday. We have also seen many people taking

advantage of the specialty Bible classes, and our general

Bible study has even seen first time visitors, and at least

two people saved in its first month. Keep up the good

work!

This month ahead is filled with activities, including our

men’s prayer breakfast; ladies brunch; a Senior Saints

museum trip; two co-ed volleyball nights; a couple teen

activities; and our annual report and business meeting.

This important meeting will be held Sunday, February

15th, after the evening service. While there are no major

decisions to be brought before the church, we will be

asking the congregation to ratify four new deacons and

three new trustees, as well as explaining the church

policy concerning Ohio’s concealed carry firearms law

and churches. We will also make available copies of our

annual report for each member family.

We have also included in this newsletter early

information about our Spring Revival in March, and our

Easter drama, “The Easter Song”, April 2nd and 3rd.

Mark your calendars now for these big events, and please

pray for everyone involved as we seek the Holy Spirit’s

power to impact many lives for Christ.
