BBC December Newsletter 2015

What a year 2015 has been as Bible Baptist Church celebrated our 20th anniversary! God was so good to us again this year, and proved Himself faithful to meet every need of the church, and to allow us another fruitful year of ministry. As we look back over the year, and prepare for the dawning of a brand new year of service to the Lord, we want to honor Him and give Him thanks for all He has done. In 2015 we were privileged to hear great preachers like Junior Hill, Tom Wagoner, Bruce Humbert, Bill Monroe, and Terrell Hudson. We heard wonderful music from The Booth Brothers, The Old Paths, and the Taylor Family. Events such as our Easter drama, Spring Revival, Life & Liberty Weekend (4th of July fireworks), Fall Family Day, and the “Shield of Prayer” Service were awesome opportunities to reach our community with the gospel message. Camps, Vacation Bible School, two mission trips, Sunday School contests, and AWANA, all filled up the calendar with great family activities and fun. 2015 was a blessed year!

This month we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Many opportunities exist for you to invite family and friends to learn the real reason of our hope – that Christ was born to save sinners like us. I encourage you to make sure your family takes part in every church event that you can this month, and to really let your light shine during this season. Our world is growing increasingly hostile to Christ and to Christians. While the Bible prophecies of these times, we know that the hope of the world is Jesus Christ. Let’s not be silent about the greatest gift that was ever given. Let’s tell the good news that Jesus Christ is born! Merry Christmas!
