Harper Creek Summer Swim Club 2013The Harper Creek Swim Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages andability levels including non-swimmers. It is the goal of the Harper Creek Swim Club to offer age specific train-ing for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to thebest of THEIR abilities.We offer five 7-8 week sessions throughout the year. We offer a spring conditioning and summer session withcompetition in the South Central Swimming League. We then offer a skills and drills group in the early fall toprep for winter training. In Early November we offer Winter I followed by Winter II with competition in the SCSL.

Learn To SwimThis is for the non-swimmer. This class will fill up at 20 swimmers. Our lessons will be Mon-Fri for 10lessons. We will have several sessions throughout the summer.Session 1. June 17- June 21. MON-FRI 11:00-11:30 and 11:30-12:00. First come first serve. Once thegroups are full you will be put on a waiting list so sign up fast. (This group is for only 5 days at areduced cost of $30.00. Session 2. June 24- July 12. MON-FRI 11:00-11:30 and 11:30-12:00. This practice will span over 3weeks with no practice over the 4th of July week. Session 3. July 15- July 26. MON-FRI 11:00-11:30 and 11:30-12:00.Cost is $60 per session.

Bronze GroupThis is our entry level group. An athlete in this group must only need to swim one length on his/her front andback. Skills and Drills will be taught in all four strokes. We focus on proper technique and advance swimmerswhen ready. Summer Session MON-FRI: May 28th-July 27th. Swimmers will swim at the mid-dle school pool Mon-Thurs from 5-5:45 and Friday whole team 8:30-10:30 at high school pool. Cost: $110

Silver GroupAthletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting startand turn technique. This group will train with Coach Wager from 6:00-7:30 p.m. They will swim at the highschool pool. This group has been very successful at swim meets winning many medals at championships. Summer Session: May 28th-July27th. Swimmers will swim at the high school poolMon-Thurs from 6:00-7:30 and 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday. Cost $120

Gold Group (a.m. practice and p.m. practice)Athletes in this group are usually at least 14 years old and have completed the Silver Group. This group isexposed to training at higher levels while trying to prepare for the 200 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medleyraces. Competing at swim meets is highly encouraged at a rate of about one per month.Gold Group Coach: Club Head Coach Chad Wager, Girls High School Coach, Corrin Popps and Boys HighSchool Coach, Devin Hurst.Summer Session: May 28th-July 27th. High School Swimmers are recommended toswim two practices a day. If you can only make one practice you may swim in the a.m. or p.m. The highschool coaches will be running the morning session. Incoming 8th grade swimmers are also encouraged toswim with their future high school teammates if they choose. All swimmers may swim in the p.m. with CoachWager in the evening practice. Cost: $130

High school practices starting on May 28th will be at the high school pool at 3:15-5:15 and 6:00-8:00 p.m.Summer hours will begin June 12 at 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. High school swimmers must swim oneclub meet this summer plus the championship meet. WE will be offering USA to those dedicated swimmers. Summer Hours: MON-FRIDAY 8:30-10:30 AND 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday prac-tice is morning only at the high school 8:30-10:30. As a team we will all be swimming in the Goguac Lake Swim. WE hope to have the largest group participating.
