All batteries have a limited life even in ideal conditions andthey will eventually deteriorate. Our dedicated team ofqualified battery maintenance engineers will ensure theperformance of your battery is maximised over its life.

Our capabilities can be tailored specifically to yourrequirements or we can recommend a detailed cost effectivemaintenance schedule which can include:

Planned Preventative Maintenance,Predictive Maintenance and Testing

We can provide a maintenance package that includes basicplanned preventative maintenance through to a predictivemaintenance report using the latest technology. This service will report on the status of your battery lifecycle and providerecommendations.

Our maintenance and testing capabilities include:

• Visual inspection• Charging and temperature compensation regimes• Cell, block voltages, and ripple current• Cell top-up• Specific gravity checks• Cleaning and greasing• Discharge testing• Thermal imaging• Sophisticated cell testing and continuous monitoring

Voltage Measurement and Discharge TestingUsing either site load or a loadbank we carry out batteryautonomy checks. Full battery capacity checks are torecognised and approved standards. Testing involves individualcell or block measurements being recorded using state of theart equipment to provide graphical analysis.

Thermal ImagingThermal imaging or thermography, detects abnormaltemperature changes in your installation. These changes allow the discovery of problems prior to costly downtime, ormonitor developing problems so maintenance can bescheduled during a planned downtime.

Sophisticated Cell Testing andContinuous MonitoringOur condition monitoring checks use battery resistanceinstruments to enable full site reporting of individual cell voltage and internal resistance readings including associatedinterconnections. This service provides an instant source of data on the battery condition with correlation of these checkswith discharge tests when carried out.

Recommendations and estimated battery life can be providedby our excellent technical interpretation of results.
