RF80-K

The RF80-K battery charger/analyser charges all commonly used types of batteries such as nickel-cadmium, vented lead-acid and sealed lead-acid. The instrument also analyses batteries to determine their condition or useful capacity.

RF80-M

The RF80-M is the first product of its kind to feature an advanced microcontroller with touch screen display. The optional ABMS-10X PC Interface provides PC control, datalogging, diagnostics and expanded battery processing capabilities.

Superseder IllC

The Superseeder IllC model incorporates an additional internal shunt which allows for connection to the BTAS16 PC based operating system and allows synchronised cycle start and stop functions.

The Superseder-XG is a precision instrument designed to charge and analyse (discharge) nickel-cadmium, sealed lead-acid and other types of rechargeable batteries (1 OAHr to 1 OOA-Hr).

The MB73 Series chargers are designed to charge and analyse (discharge) nickel-cadmium, sealed lead-acid and other types of rechargeable batteries. Fully automatic analysis and charging cycles using a simple menu based operation – only three keystrokes needed to start the cycle.

IC50A

Advanced model for fast automatic charging of aviation batteries. (50 amps at 24 volts). Same technology as MB73+, boosted to charge 24V batteries at 50 Amps.

The most basic service offered – complies with all CMM/OMM and EASA145/Dual Certification requirements. A standard labour cost is established for each of the various service functions. All spare parts required are supplied at extra cost.

Standard costingBattery is owned by the customer

A very popular business model whereby Satair establishes a single labour cost for all battery service requirements. The price reflects both the age of the batteries and the volumes of service required and take into consideration the flying hours the battery is subjected to. Fully compliant with all CMM and EASA 145 requirements. The standard labour cost gives the customer certainty of cost and allows more accurate budgeting.

Whether you are looking for an outsourcing partner or need to have a surplus partner, Satair battery shops in Heathrow, UK and Atlanta, US are ready to support you. We offer different service and repair programmes, from ad hoc to scheduled, from standard to fixed as well as leasing options, all customised to our customers’ needs and requirements.

Battery leasing All batteries/boxes leased are fully identified as Satair property

With batteries costing between $5k-$10k this option seeks to provide all servicing requirements over a defined period and removes the need for capital expenditure.

Classed as an operating lease, the battery ownership is retained by Satair. Subject to country legislation, elements of VAT may be offset against the costs. The customer pays a single monthly cost that is fixed for the lease period.

Buy back & total service provisionAll batteries/boxes leased are fully identified as Satair property

Under certain conditions, Satair will buy the full battery stock from the customer and establish a monthly charge including all replacement parts, new batteries and servicing. This option must be contract backed and with customers considered to be financially secure. Injects capital back into the customer’s business. Requires an in-depth knowledge/analysis of usage patterns and battery condition.

Satair Training AcademyWe offer a comprehensive course on the proper service of all wet nickel-cadmium batteries manufactured by Saft and Marathon. The instruction covers all facets of servicing requirements including, but not limited to: Inspection, charging, capacity testing, deep cycling, electrolyte leveling, disassembly and reassembly, repair, temperature sensor testing and storage, not to mention diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Also covered in the course are all similar testing requirements on sealed lead-acid batteries manufactured by Concorde and Hawker. The correct use and potential of battery chargers from CASC, Christie and JFM (Superseder, Master charger, AVIX) is also covered in this course.
