Maintenance-Free AGM/VRLA Battery

United batteries are constructed with lead calcium alloy and absorbed glass mat tech-nology to provide you with total maintenance free operation. No spills no leak no water to check. This design will provide you with the most powerful highest amp hour capaci-ty longest cycle – life product on the market. In addition the fiberglass mat separators and high cell compression extend battery life by delivering superior vibrations resis-tance from engine abuse or extreme road conditions.

Flooded lead-acid Battery

In most cases this battery was the original equipment battery provided by your equip-ment manufacturer.The United conventional battery meets or exceeds the original specifications for starting and amp hour capacity.Heavy duty glass mat separators resist vibration damage and through – the – wall intercell connectors minimize internal resistance for maximum power. Quick remove vent and transparent case will make checking electrolyte levels easy.

TRACTION BATTERY FEATURES:

Cell Containers and Covers: Adapted for push-in plugs, allows the optimal sealing of the terminal posts throughout special rubber bushes.Poles: Robust cross-section, designed to ensure high electrical conductivity and the best mechanical characteristics.Connectors: guarantees the perfect electrical connection between the cells, ensuring full insu-lation of conductors.Separators: Microporous Polyethylene, to ensure high performance and complete insulation between positive and negative plates, while allowing the free flow of electrolyte through-out the cell. Positive Plates: Tube design with non-woven gauntlet and pins-grid produced by die-casting, to give high mechanical characteristics and maximum current carrying capacity.Negative Plates: Thick with design grid for improved holding of the active material and high electrical conductivity.

OPzS constructionPositive Plates: Prestolite OPzS cell are manufactured with tubular positive plates. The tubular plate design is known for its high reliability and ling service life in float charging opera-tion. The plate composition of a special low-Antimony (

The Electrolyte: Is a diluted sulphuric acid (H2SO4). Specific Gravity of a fully charged cell is 10240 + 0.010 kg/lt at 200C. Cell Containers and Covers: Containers are transparent allowing the reading of the electrolyte level and visual inspection, and are made out of Styrene Acrylonitile (SAN). Maximum and Mini-mum levels of electrolyte are indicated in the Container to easy maintenance. The covers of the cells are made out of ABS, a high resistant copolymer.

Poles: Are designed to allow low resistance and avoid acid leakage and corrosion.
