I saw lots of our families enjoying outdoor activities like riding their bikes and playing netball, and indoor activities as well (I spotted a few at a local café)! Bathurst really is a lovely community to raise our kids. Premier’s Sporting Challenge Speaking of getting active, along with many schools across NSW, Bathurst West has joined in the Premier’s Sporting Challenge. The 10-week physical activity Challenge period aims to have more students, more active, more often. Physical activity is not just about being fit; it's about building resilience, improving concentration and supporting overall health and wellbeing. Ask your kids about it. Take this chance to join your kids and school to improve everyone’s wellbeing – the staff are certainly rising to the challenge. There might even be a staff game of touch footy on the oval after school one day next week! Student Reports Teachers across the school are in the process of finalising reports so they are ready to send home in the last week of term. This is a huge job for our teachers and I know that they pour time, effort and a splash of love into every one of them. Soon it will be my absolute pleasure to read them all before we send them home. I can’t wait, as I love reading about the achievements and efforts of our kids. I hope you enjoy them too.
