Dear Parents/Carers Where has Term 1 gone? It has been an extremely busy and successful Term 1 and as usual, the children have made a positive and engaged start to the year. Well done to everyone – our staff who deserve the chance to recharge, our lovely and supportive families, and especially to our beautiful kids! I hope that everyone enjoys the break and gets to spend some quality time with family and friends.

Bunny Hop We hope you can join us on Friday for the Bunny Hop, involving children from Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year2. Festivities, including dancing and a hat parade, get underway from 10.30am. We may even have a visit from a very special cotton-tailed superstar on the day! What a lovely way to end the term!

No assembly this Friday Bunny Hop activities mean that there will not be an assem-bly this week. All students who were due to receive awards this week will now receive those in Week 1 at our first as-sembly back next term.

Riddle of the week The riddle each week is designed to encourage children to use their lateral thinking skills, to challenge them, and to remind them that learning and thinking is fun! Once again we thank Annies Ice Cream for supporting one correct answer drawn from a hat each week. This week’s riddle is: What has a bottom at the top? Last weeks: How can you throw a ball 20m and have it come back to you without hitting anything? Answer: Throw it straight up!

Canteen News INFANTS BUNNY HOP. This will be held on FRIDAY 7

th April

the last day of term 1. PLEASE ENSURE YOU GET YOUR ORDERS IN BY TOMORROW WEDNESDAY 5.4.17 as we have to bag up the Easter egg bags and we require time to do this. WE DO NOT ORDER VERY MANY EXTRA HOT CROSS BUNS AS WE DON’T WANT THEM LEFT OVER. Those people who pre-order their buns and eggs will be assured of receiving them. Infants children and parents will receive their items after the bunny hop. Primary children will receive their items at afternoon tea. Tea/Coffee will also be available to parents on the day. Let’s enjoy this great day and round it off with a special morning or afternoon tea. SPARE NOTES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CANTEEN. Hot cross buns are $1.20 and Easter egg bags are $1.00. Tea/Coffee is also $1.00 and is payable on the day. I would like to take the opportunity to wish all the chil-
