Bath AbbeyMagnificent stained-glass windows, honey-coloured stone columns and exquisite fan vaulting create an extraordinary experience of light and space.
The West Front features a unique ladders of Angels, inspired by a dream that the then Bishop of Bath, Oliver King, had of ascending and descending angels.
There are daily tours of the tower (except Sunday) that give you the chance to go behind the scenes and enjoy stunning views of the city. You’ll see the abbey bell and ringing chamber, sit behind the clock face and stand on top of the Abbey’s vaulted ceiling.
Tickets are on sale in the abbey shop, and do remember there are 212 steps to the top.

the Roman Baths This rather grand bathing and socialising complex was built around 70AD, and is one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world. More than 1 million litres of steaming spring water, reaching 46°C, still fill the baths every single day.
You can walk on the same pavements that ancient Romans walked on 2,000 years ago, and explore the chambers that once contained changing rooms and tepid plunge pools.

Pulteney BridgePulteney Bridge was designed in 1769 by
Robert Adam, and is one of only four bridges in the world to have shops both sides across its full span.
It was named after Frances Pulteney, wife of William Johnstone Pulteney. He was an important landowner in
Georgian Bath and had grand plans that included this spectacular bridge. It opened in 1770 and was a revelation.
