Girls Basketball will be having their
banquet on May 17th @ 2pm in the High
School cafeteria. There are many benefits to getting active for children. May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month and it is a great time to spread the word that physical activity can improve muscular fitness and bone and heart health in children. KIDS CHANCE OF KENTUCKY This Scholarship is for any student who has had a parent/guardian seriously injured or killed in a work-related accident. Scholarship is valued at $3,000 per year. The information has been placed on the Scholarship board outside of the Guidance Office. An on-line application is required.
Bath County/Owingsville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Application
2015 Scholarship Application: The Bath County/Owingsville Chamber of Commerce wishes to grant one graduating student of Bath County High
School a one-time scholarship. We are hopeful that the award will be at least $500.00. Requirements of the Applicant:
~Plans to attend college or technical/trade school after graduation. (Proof of enrollment will be required) ~Must have an average
attendance rate of 90% from the 9th through the 12th grade. ~Must have a sense of civic responsibility.
Wildcat Exchange Bank Scholarship – for students participating in the school bank class KHSAA Sportsmanship Recognition – male and female student athletes, must put together a portfolio of sports activities

Students wanting to get their permit paper from the guidance office MUST stop by the guidance office any day but MONDAY. They may pick up the form Tuesday-Friday.

They changed the law again. If the students are not registered, they can still attend as long as he has room. First come first serve if not registered.

The purpose of the SBDM council is to pass policies to improve the learning environment at our school as well as to improve the quality of instruction that is being delivered to the students in our school.
The council meets regularly on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM in the library.

Where: Bath Co. Agricultural Education & Marketing Center (2914 East Hwy 60 Owingsville)
Description: Learn to create a monthly budget and a plan to get out of debt; establish a savings fund and
become an educated consumer; learn how to deal with creditors and understand your credit report; also
learn better communication skills to improve family and work relations.
Bath County Extension Service is also providing Nutrition Education! Participants will receive FREE
class materials and certificates of completion. There will also be food, door prizes, and lots of fun waiting
for you!
