EVERY pupil is important EVERY staff member is an asset EVERY parent is a partner
From the Principal HAPPY HOLIDAYS I would like to wish all of our families a very happy and safe holiday. School resumes for term 2 on Monday 16th of April. A reminder to parents that late arrival and early pick up count towards absence attendance data…. Be an attendance HERO – Here Everyday Ready On time. ANZAC DAY
Four years ago I applied for a Gallipoli Oak for Bass Valley Primary School which
was a very special offer to organisations from the National Trust of Australia. I am
very pleased to announce that we have now been allocated a seedling to be plant-
ed in the school grounds. This will arrive just before ANZAC day and we are planning
some special activities around this. More
information next term.
KABOOM KIDS SPORTS This was a great activity at the school last Monday. The children were very active and tried lots of the Common-wealth games themed activities. Watch-ing children throw pool noodles as jave-lins was quite entertaining!
AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY……GLASSES FOR KIDS PROGRAM Students in grades prep to three will be offered a free eye test and glasses (if nec-essary) through the Glasses for Kids program which has been offered to Bass Valley
Primary School. During May an Optometrist group will be able to access all children who have a signed parent consent for FREE. If glasses or a further referral is neces-sary parents will be provided with a voucher to receive these services and glasses for FREE. Parents will be informed when the date is confirmed and permission forms are available. Leanne Edwards Principal Quote of the week
