Be an attendance HERO Here Everyday Ready On time. ANZAC DAY Four years ago I applied for a Gallipoli Oak for Bass Valley Primary School which was a very special offer to organisations from the National Trust of Australia. I am very pleased to announce that we have now been allocated a seedling to be plant- ed in the school grounds. This will arrive just before ANZAC day and we are planning some special activities around this. More information next term. KABOOM KIDS SPORTS This was a great activity at the school last Monday. The children were very active and tried lots of the Common- wealth games themed activities. Watch- ing children throw pool noodles as jave- lins was quite entertaining! AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY……GLASSES FOR KIDS PROGRAM Students in grades prep to three will be offered a free eye test and glasses (if nec- essary) through the Glasses for Kids program which has been offered to Bass Valley Primary School. During May an Optometrist group will be able to access all children who have a signed parent consent for FREE. If glasses or a further referral is neces- sary parents will be provided with a voucher to receive these services and glasses for FREE.
