IMG Academy basketball’s ideal and proven balance of challenging academics and on-court expert instruction has led to unprecedented team and individual accolades as well as college placement.

IMG Academy’s basketball program focuses on position-specific instruction, a competitive schedule, year-round training and development, and frequent communication and evaluations for student-athletes and their families regarding their progress.

Offering various levels within the program, including a National team, several Varsity and Middle School teams, post-graduate opportunities, and more, IMG Academy’s basketball program’s overall structure both supports and challenges individuals while providing them with a platform to achieve their goals on and off the court.

Teams are available at the following levels:

• National: compete against some of the nation’s top programs while gaining exposure to top D1 programs

• Junior National: available for 9th and 10th graders to compete against high level Varsity teams locally and regionally

• Varsity: the program offers several Varsity teams to accommodate student-athletes at various levels in their development and high school playing careers

• Middle School: develop and prepare for the progression towards IMG’s National, Varsity, and Junior National teams while gaining exposure to high-level skill development and training

• Post-graduate: compete against national competition at various tournaments and showcase events without jeopardizing NCAA eligibility

AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND FOR ATHLETES AGES 12-18

IMG Academy basketball camps incorporate small-group training sessions as well as position-specific drills that prepare players of all levels for their upcoming tryouts, league season, and even for the collegiate level.

The same coaching staff who led IMG to the 2019 GEICO National Championship game works directly with IMG campers to hone their technical, tactical, and strategic skills during each session.

Camp programs include on-court group sessions that focus on shooting, dribbling, defense, and more. All basketball campers will receive a post-camp analysis report inclusive of coach feedback and important takeaways.

IMG Academy basketball camps were developed to focus on the most crucial aspects of the game:

• IMG Camp: IMG’s revolutionary training methodology (sport & core performance training)

• Total Athlete: IMG Camp + 1 daily specialization session (Ex. strength & power or mental toughness & vision)

• Breakthrough: IMG Camp + 1 daily personalized sport training session

• Game Changer: IMG Camp + Total Athlete + Breakthrough
