• 2,335 have passed the online assessment

• 700 given a special dispensation until 31 December

What is an apprenticeship?

• A job with training

• Develop and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to perform effectively in their occupation

• The occupation is defined in the apprenticeship standard

• Apprenticeship Levy

• UK ‘tax’ on employers which can be used to fund apprenticeship training

• In the current tax year it is payable by all employers with an annual pay bill of more than £3 million at a rate of 0.5% of their total pay bill.
