Hydraulic steering system Lubrication system

Closed loop type hydraulic steering system is equipped with one

100% capacity main pump. A stand by pump is optional. The variable

displacement pump has good steering efficiency and minimum

energy losses at low loads. The smooth turning operation is effected

by electrically controlled starting and stopping ramps. The system is

designed to give simultaneously full torque at 2 rpm steering speed

even in crash stop condition.

Lubrication oil is circulated by one 100% lubrication pump. A stand

by pump is optional. The pump is of screw type and thus very silent.

The oil is filtered by duplex (20 microns) filter as well as fine filter

(3 microns) in the by-pass line.

UUC is a modern design for underwater

mounting and demounting.

USE is designed for installation in dry

conditions. This type can be mounted

directly to the hull or on a container.

The container can be either of retrieveable or

retractable type.

USL is a compact design with bottom well

and foundation for vertical drive motor. USL

installation method means wet mounting

from the top through a casing.
