Memori adalah istilah umum untuk proses mental yang memperkenankan seseorang menyimpan informasi yang kemudian bisa di ingat lagi

(Strub&Black, 2000).

Page 16: Basic Memory.ppt

Tidak ada memori yang lemah, yang ada “ terlatih atau tidak terlatih “.

•Tidak ada batasan terhadap kapasitas memori. •Memori yang akurat dan tersimpan baik adalah dasar kesuksesan.

HABIT IS MEMORY

Page 17: Basic Memory.ppt

(Strub&Black, 2000).

Basic Memory Technique (BMT)

• is a technique that allows the students to improve and maintain their memory and keep their brain young. •This technique will be a trigger for the students to know the process of memory and to propel them toward a sharper mind by doing principle technique “Look-Snap-Connect”

LONG-TERM MEMORY

One common distinction made in human long-term memory is between

• semantic memory, which refers to our store of general knowledge of the world, facts, concepts, objects and the meanings of words,

and • episodic memory, which refers to

our store of personally experienced events from one's past life.

IS A ABILITY TO ATTEND TO A SPECIFIC STIMULUS WITHOUT BEING DISTRACTED BY EXTRANEOUS INTERNAL OR ENVIROMENTAL STIMULI

Page 26: Basic Memory.ppt

The Student`s basic level of attention can be readily assessed by using the Digit span Test and “A” Random Letter Test to assess the level of concentration ability.

ASSESMENT

• SELF ASSESMENT

This inventory use to learn how aware they are of their own memory status.

LOOK

•Actively observe what you want to learn.•Slow down, take notice, and focus on what you want to remember.•Consciously absord details and meaning from a new face, event, or conversation.

SNAP

•Create Mental Snapshots of Memories•Create a mental snapshot of the visual information you wish to remember•Add details to give the SNAPs personal meaning and make them easier to learn and recall later.

CONNECT

•Link your mental Snapshots together•Associate the image-to-be-remembered in a chain, starting with the first image, which is associated with the second, the second with the third, and so forth.

• BASIC MEMORY TECHNIQUE – Is a concept about how to maintain and increase

the memory ability based on continued brain stimulation and integration between the right and the left side of the brain

– The coordination of the both sides brain`s activities always support and comunicate and called “Whole Brain Thinking & Memorizing”.
