Introduction

Denim – durable twill woven fabric - coloured (usually Blue) warp threads - white weft filling threads – gives depth to the fabric - origin of word from French serge de Nimes - yarn dyed and mill finished - primarily made of Cotton, but also Cotton mixed with other fibres
