What can I put inside my tent?
Straw for bedding Canvas drop cloth for the floorWool blankets Animal hides with fur on
Camp bed Your gear/clothing
Camp stove – based on if you have a stove hole
Lantern hooks on the tent poles to hang a lantern
Wooden pegs in tent poles to hang your gear
Period mattress filled with straw or other materials
Basic Camp Equipment
Iron Skillet Grill Dutch ovens
Spider (a skillet with legs) Table Iron or pewter two tined forks
Iron fire set – either a tri-pod or 2 upright vertical bars with metal loops at the top with a horizontal
Trammels (to attach pots to fire set)
S hooks to hang pots from fire set
Trivets Cook pots Wooden, pewter, iron, or horn spoons
Basic Camp Equipment
Period knives Flint/steel box with tinder
Lantern/lantern stand
Camp box to store kitchen gear
Pot scrubber Iron cooking utensils (spatula, spoon, fork, ladle)
Pewter, tin, or wooden plates/bowls
Linen pot holders Corn boiler
Tin, brass, or wooden bucket
Linen/cotton towels Spices (contained in linen or muslin bags or small glass bottles with cork, wooden containers) can be put in a spice box or just in a larger bag or tin

Also make a center cut Use shovel to dig out the two pieces Set sod aside Replace when it’s time to go home
