Barnett & Garcia have over 20 years of combined legal experience intrial advocacy. Our attorneys are capable in providing defenses to a variety of liabilityclaims. Our goal throughout the litigation process is to provide quality results, efficientlyand effectively, while reducing the insurer’s liability.

Receivership:Don Barnett and Matt Garcia are currently counsel to Special Deputy Receiver onColonial and Highlands Insurance. Don Barnett previously acted as SDR counsel andassisted in workers’ compensation litigation. Both Don and Matt are familiar withpreparing and filing of appropriate applications in the receivership court, advising andparticipating in litigation activities identified by the special deputy receiver and assistingin the closure of receivership estates.

Agent Balances:Over the past years our attorneys have successfully litigated the recovery of retropremiums and agent’s balances.
