Father's business?”

Busy! Busy! Busy! What a blessing to be busy for Jesus! Our Savior knew the importance of doing the “Busy-ness” of

our Father. Of course, being busy for Jesus and being Faithful go together. And, if a person is Faithful he cannot help

but be Fruitful (Faithful and Fruitful go together, also). If I got what I deserve I would be in eternal hell right now, but

thanks to God’s love, grace and mercy I am, not only saved and have a home in Heaven, but I get to be Busy for Jesus

right now!

JANUARY 2015 ---- Usually, our family doesn’t travel much in January and February each year. This January was no

exception. Nevertheless, we were very busy in the Gospel ministry. God put it on my heart some time ago to write a series

of fundamental Sunday school material that could be placed in booklet form so students could read, study and fill-in the

blanks in the work-book section. We believed that God had us to begin with a study-book for the Book of Romans. God

allowed us to complete the publishing of the Book of Romans in two volumes. We plan to continue to write/publish

Sunday school work-books for all the epistles in the New Testament. Please check-out this material at

God allowed us to make tremendous progress in our radio ministry (The Gospel Radio Network) and we Praise God for

the improvements made. (See more details inside this issue of the “Shield of Faith.”)

January 25-30 ---- Pastor Dexter Landers and The Mt. Zion Baptist Church (our home church) were blessed to have

Dr. Tom Williams preach revival services each night. Dr. Williams did a great job and each message was inspired,

powerful and convicting. Many decisions were made and the Holy Spirit stirred the hearts of God’s people. Our family

was honored to help with singing in the services. It was a blessing to get to spend some time with our friends Dr. Williams

and Brother Joe Moore.

FEBRUARY 2015 ---- This was another good month for the radio ministry. During the months of January and February

our family spent a good bit of time working on the radio ministry and this kept us at home. Because of being at home we

enjoyed going door-to-door soul winning with our home church. We were able to carry the Gospel to many lost people and

several members of our family were blessed to see some people trust Christ as their Savior. I taught Sunday school at Mt.

Zion and preached on February 22nd and one young man trusted Christ as his Savior, (Praise the Lord).

God has blessed my health! Even with the monthly blood checks right now I am feeling GREAT. I’m so glad that we

have a Heavenly Father that loves us so much and cares about our every need! Surely, the whole world needs to know

Him as their Father! Please keep praying and supporting! Without your help the spread of the Gospel

would not be done! Thank you for your love and friendship

Thank God for what He is doing in

the radio ministry. God gave this

ministry to B.E. Ministries after nearly

eight years of prayer. We asked the

Lord to give us a radio station in west

Georgia that could be used to spread

the Gospel, play Christ honoring music,

help the local Bible preaching church

and glorify God. Most of our inquiries

were negative and we were told,

“Getting a station (especially FM) in

the Atlanta market would be

impossible.” God had other plans!

When we began to work with the

station (construction permit) in

January 2012 we only had till May 2012

to have it on the air and broadcasting.

God did the “impossible” again and we

went on the air on May 27, 2012.

However, because of the limited

amount of time we had to work with,

many things had to be done on a

temporary basis. We placed the

antenna on a 21 foot long piece of pipe

and erected it on top the old bank

building in Tallapoosa, GA. We had to

run our cable through a nearby window

and connect to our transmitter located

in an old unused rest room. This is

where it is even to this very day.

But, Glory to God, last year we

were able to purchase three acres of

land on which to erect our permanent

radio tower and antenna. The land is

zoned correctly for our work and the

building and grading permit has been

obtained.

On January 27, 2015 Brother

Shane Goodwin and his company

began the grading and clearing of the

three acres with his big CAT loader to

make the land suitable for tower

erection. He took trees down and

cleared brush and made it look like a

different place. Since this property is

commercial the debris had to be

removed in large containers and not

buried or burned. By February 6 the

ground was cleared and the three acres

cleaned and ready for grass seed and

our new tower.

The next step was to locate a new

200 foot radio tower. With a lot of

prayer and the watchful eye of Brother

Marc Ball (a good friend at our church)

we located a used, but good, tower in

Warner Robins, GA.

On February 19 Brother Marc,

David, Evan and I drove to Warner

Robins and brought the tower back on

a 16 foot utility trailer. Praise God!

The purchase of the land; the

cost of the clearing and grading

and the purchase of the tower,

has all been done by donations

from God people ... And, Praise

Be To God, everything is paid for

and we have no indebtedness! All

that has been done is by the

GRACE of GOD!

Now, we need YOUR help to

keep moving forward. We need

to sow the grass seed; erect the

tower; build an 8x8 block building to

house our transmission equipment;

purchase anchors, bolts and fasteners

for the tower; cable, paint, concrete

and crane rental to complete the job.

Short-range Plans:

In addition to completion of

erection of our new tower, we plan to

open a studio in Carrollton, GA. and

set-up all the equipment for

operation (God has provided the new

console).

We plan to begin streaming on

the internet soon and, in keeping

with the tradition set by our friends

at The Fundamental Broadcasting

Network, we will continue the same

music and some programming as

FBN, with a touch of west Georgia

programming.

We plan to feature preaching by

such men as; Pastor Dexter Landers,

Pastor Doug Anderson, Dr. Dan

Reed, Dr. Myron McIntyre, Pastor

Randy Cape, Dr. Donny Chandler,

Pastor Donny Melton, Pastor Nick

Keller, and many other fundamental

men of God.

“A Soul Winning Ministry” Any great and successful football team (Alabama Crimson

Tide, for example), always has two great things to make it win.

Those two things are a good passing game and a good running

game. So it is with a fruitful soul winning church.

Is there a difference in a soul winning ministry and a

ministry of soul winning?

A soul winning ministry might be one that preaches the

Gospel from the pulpit. Sad to say, some churches don’t do that

today. What a shame!

A ministry of soul winning is a church that practices

confrontational, face-to-face, one-on-one soul winning with any

person anywhere.

It is wonderful to have a soul winning ministry. Thank God

for every Bible preacher that stands at the pulpit every week and

preaches the saving Gospel of Christ.

But, just think what God could do if He had a church and

preacher that would practice both! It might just change this

world for the glory of God!

“Do It Now!” A man in his 70’s came to me after I preached a revival service

in his church. He said God told him to do something years ago

and he would not do it. He said “NO” to God. He then said, “God

never told me again to do that thing.” Do it NOW!

“A FUNDAMENTALIST”

A fundamentalist is a person that believes ALL the

Bible. Not that he knows ALL the Bible, but that he

believes ALL of it.

“TWO SIDES TO THE STORY”

Proverbs 3:6 “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall

direct thy paths.”

When human beings are dealing with each other it has often

been said, “There is two sides to every story.” We use this

statement when we’re trying to determine who is right and who is

wrong in a conflict or disagreement.

Honesty will reveal that this statement is not actually TRUE.

Oh, for sure, there is your side and then there is my side, and in

most cases a dispute cannot be properly settled until both sides

are heard.

But, let us not forget that there is one more side to the story;

and that is God’s side.

Regardless of their side or our side, we better make sure that

we check-out God’s side and seek to follow it.

will be here before you know it. This Fair will be our nineteenth

(19th) year of soul winning among the

visitors to the Fair. We have literally

seen thousands of people of all ages

listen to the clear Gospel message and

believe and receive Christ as their

One time at the rescue mission a judge released a woman

to my supervision that had been charged with drug

possession. She was to report to me three times a week for

instruction and accountability.

She told me how the devil had come and knocked on her door. She opened the door and thought he just wanted to talk

a while. She gave him attention and a place at the door. She

told me, before she knew it, he had moved in bag and

baggage and took-up residence in her house and she had to

set him a place at the table.

What she thought was going to be a simple

conversation, turned into a terrible experience for her and her

family. If she had only, NOT given him PLACE.

YES, YOU CAN KNOW FOR SURE THAT YOU ARE GOING TO HEAVEN!

1John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the

name of the Son of God.” Notice this verse says YOU can KNOW!

HERE IS THE BIBLE WAY TO HEAVEN:

1. You must BELIEVE and realize you are a SINNER: Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” No one is exempt. No one

is excluded. You are a sinner because you have broken God’s law.

2. You must BELIEVE and realize there is a PAYMENT (penalty) for SIN: Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death;” Just as there are wages for good,

there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal separation from God in Hell.

3. You must BELIEVE Christ died and rose again for YOU: Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ

died for us.”

4. You must BELIEVE that ETERNAL LIFE is a free GIFT which YOU receive by FAITH in JESUS: Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the

gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” A GIFT cannot be worked for; it must be RECEIVED by putting your FAITH in what JESUS did for YOU

on the cross.

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Everlasting life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith.

Why not pray right now and ask Jesus to save you? “Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. I now trust you as my personal Savior.

Come into my heart and save my soul from Hell. Please take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me, Jesus. Amen.” CONGRATULATIONS!
