Sanctuary Choir

Sanctuary Choir rehearsals will resume on Wednesday, August 31st at 7:00PM. Anyone

interested in joining the choir is welcome to come be a part of the fellowship and music

making as we prepare for worship each week!

Nothing But Nets focuses on providing insecticide-treated bed nets to

families across Sub-Saharan Africa - where the majority of all deaths and

infections from malaria occur. Bed nets use a simple but effective

prevention approach to eliminate contact with mosquitoes and eliminate

malaria. The BUMC Outreach Committee asks you to prayerfully consider

making a donation to “Nothing But Nets,” our mission emphasis for

August. Envelopes will be placed in the sanctuary for donations.

Room In The Inn

Everyone is invited on Sunday, August 28th at 12:00PM for lunch in the Life

Center, followed by a presentation on Room In The Inn. The presentation will

help everyone understand what is happening with the Room In The Inn program,

not only in the church, but in the community as a whole. The presentation will

close with a Question and Answer session. We encourage you to come and learn

about this important outreach opportunity.

Prayers and Condolences to Dave and Karen Pond at the passing of

Karen’s mother, Joyce E. Blankenship, on Saturday, August 13th.
