Please note that prior to importing a title from OPALS servers you should already have in place your Barcode Range assignment for E-BOOKS. This tutorial will cover: • Basic import of an ePub from OPALS servers • z-import of MARC record for the ePub Here is a brief review of the process: Import free epubs from the OPALS Servers, or other sites: --Project Gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org/ --Freebooks Public Domain: http://www.feedbooks.com/publicdomain Once your ePubs are imported, you will need to retieve a MARC record. OPALS offers many for the publications on our servers. For ePubs from other sites you will need to follow typical z-import of MARC records and edit accordingly.
