Be creative, learn and have fun together in our lively art and craft workshops inspired by our fascinating collection and exhibitions. DROP-IN DRAWING SUNDAY SUNDAY 20 JANUARY 2013 11am – 4pm Meet Lady Barber - wearing her favourite 1930s outfit - in the gallery, and have a go at drawing her from life. Suitable for all ages and abilities. URBAN SPRAWL: BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY FREE FAMILY WORKSHOPMonday 1 aPrIL 201311am – 3pm, drop-in any time!

Make a giant, sprawling city with towering buildings and factories, roads with traffic jams, train tracks, and parks, all from recycled materials.

There will also be interactive storytelling in the galleries at 12noon, 1pm and 2pm.

BiRtHdaY paRtieSHold your fun-filled birthday party at the Barber! Explore the stories behind our paintings and sculptures with our storyteller. you’ll meet heroes and villains, and get the chance to dress up, before making your very own work of art to take home with you!

£12 per child.Minimum 10 children, maximum 15 children. age 6 years upwards

no party is complete without some party food!our Treasure Chest lunch boxes include: Carton of juice, chocolate buttons, Babybel edam cheese, Hula Hoops, Fruitpot or jelly, and a choice of sandwiches (ham and tomato, cheese or egg mayo) – £5.95 per child.

HOW TO FIND USThe Barber Institute is located in south-west Birmingham, approximately three miles from the city centre, at the east Gate of the university of Birmingham, off edgbaston Park road.

FREE parking is available on campus around the Barber outside these times.

These are always full of puzzles, quizzes and drawing challenges to keep the whole family busy and inspired during your visit. Pick one up now in the Learning room at the top of the stairs, or ask one of our friendly members of staff.
