On Brain Cancero In Israel: about 100 new cases a year. risk: about

0.5%o Primary vs. Metastatic (1/9 ratio).o Types: four grades of malignancy, 200 types,

about 50% highly malignant. o Life expectancy below 12 months: 72% for

grade IV. overall: 54%o Diagnosis: radiology (MRI), histopathology,

clinical evaluation.o Symptoms: seizures, motor and sensory

dysfunction, personality changes, headaches.o Treatment: symptoms-oriented, surgery, initial

chemo, radiotherapy, aggressive chemo, trials, palliative.
