Our prayers are with you, and remember our quiet church can be a great place to recollect and refocus and feel Gods peace during stressful times. Remember the Lord is with you and has a good plan for your future. * An exceptional donation for the church restoration of €50,000. House visits seeking your financial support will begin by early July. Please remember that this has not happened for almost a century, and will not hopefully happen again for a long time. A 5-yearly buildings report and prompt intervention from now on will ensure such large works will be a very rare occurrence. Fr Michael * Leam Church: It has come to my attention that the old church at Leam is in a more serious state of disrepair than previously realised. In addition, the overgrowth of the surrounding grounds may attract unwanted attention. In light of the prominent place the church has paid in the local community life I am calling an emergency meeting Thursday 6 th June at 8pm in the church itself. It is hoped (and indeed expected) that as many local inhabitants of Leam as possible will attend owing to the importance of the structure to local history and faith. The aim is to hopefully implement a plan for its continued upkeep and possible future reuse. Fr Michael. * 8:30am Sunday mass in Oughterard to resume from June. See the mass schedule across. * Lourdes diocesan pilgrimage - 30 June - 5 July. 5 nights €785. Special Accomm/support for those with special needs (€645) includes transport to/from Shannon. Contact Fr. Marti n Moran, Rosscahill. 091550106 * Adoremus National Eucharistic & Marian Pilgrimage Knock. 14/15 June. Strictest confidentiality assured. Registration sheets are available at all masses on the altar rails. Your normal weekly offering for the upkeep of the parish goes in the envelope instead of loose money in the basket . Depending on circumstances the parish may be able to benefit from tax back on your donations. Eucharistic Adoration Tues & Fri 10:30-11:30am, Thurs 7:00-8:00pm, in ‘crying room’ chapel. We have some sponsorship spaces left to fund the commissioning of a new stained glass window for the new Lamb of God chapel. Please contact fr Michael directly for details if you would like to be included. Please consider remembering the parish of Oughterard in your will as a legacy donation. The donor will be remembered in prayer and at the mass by the parish for many, many years.
