Arrival. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Banyoles. (1,5 hours from Barcelona Airport / 40 min from Girona Airport).

Meet&Greet. A short tour briefing and orientation will take place at the moment of check-in at the hotel. Depending on the time of

arrival there might be the first session of rowing organized or an introductory session about the facilities.

20:00 - Dinner at the hotel. Enjoy our fresh, quality food in the hotel with adapted menus for sportspeople.

DAY 1

17:00. The bus will pick you up at the hotel for a Guided Tour of the medieval historic centre of Girona. You will see the city and feel its

spirit. Touch the history, follow the labyrinth of narrow streets, listen to the bells in the Cathedral, climb the ancient wall to see the

roofs of the city from the top, cross the Onyar river over the famous bridges of Girona, see the mysterious shadows on the streets in

the twilight.

20:00 - Dinner in Girona. The city boasts an outstanding gastronomy. You will dine enjoying Girona’s delicious cuisine with local ingre-

dients of superb quality.

DAY 2

8:00. Breakfast at the hotel. | 9:00 – 11:00. Rowing in the Lake of Banyoles. | 12:00. Lunch at the hotel.

14:00 – 16:00. Rowing in the Lake of Banyoles.

18:00. We will take you for a walk to show you our town of Banyoles. The magnificent views of the Lake – surrounded by the mountains

of the Volcanic Zone in La Garrotxa Nature Reserve- are the scenery that makes this rowing venue a truly unforgettable spot. We will

guide you to see what you prefer: cultural heritage, museum of archaeology, ancient buildings… or just the buzz of the everyday life of

the town with its small cafes and shops. Being native to the town, we can tell you stories about its history and its people.

DAY 3

18:00. The bus will pick you up at the hotel for a Guided Tour of Besalú. Located only 20 minutes away from Banyoles, this town used

to be the capital of the Besalú County in the early middle Ages, large and wealthy due to its strategic position.

The town’s most prominent feature is a 12-century Romanesque bridge over the river Fluvià, which frames the entrance. The church

of Sant Pere dates back to 1003. The beautiful arcaded streets and squares, the narrow streets made entirely of stone breathe with

history. The Jewish Baths (one of the very few in Europe) and the ruins of the synagogue witnessed the exile of the Jews in the early

15th century. Don’t miss the Museum of Miniature. Tiny objects can only be distinguished with magnifying glass. A caravan of camels

in the needle’s eye will impress you.

20:00. Farewell dinner in Besalú. Celebrate the last day of the fascinating experience with a special meal in a very special place. Besalú

will treat you with the excellent cuisine in the authentic medieval restaurant with unforgettable views.

8:00. Breakfast at the hotel.

9:00. The bus will take you to a little family ran Vineyard for a guided walk and wine tasting experience. Enjoy the sun and the scenery

of the Empordà valley, surrounded by the Pyrenees.

13:00. Lunch at the winery restaurant. The Mediterranean cuisine reaches the highest degree in the Empordà valley. The Catalan

gastronomic tradition nourishes ancient recipes but at the same time is open for innovations.

16:00. The guided tour of the Theater-Museum of Salvador Dali in Figueres will enrich your experience with the surrealistic illusions of

the Great Artist. The museum was created by Dali himself, the building on its own is an artistic object. The collection includes installa-

tions, paintings, photographs from the family archives, and an impressive treasury of jewellery by Dali.
