GENERAL GUIDELINES OF Nursery - XII Academic Session (2020 - 21)
* New session will start as per the Directives of Education Department.However online classes have commenced from 26th March 2020 *Parents are requested to strictly adhere to the below guidelines for the smooth functioning. Timings: SUMMER TIMINGS WINTER TIMINGS Pre-primary: 07:50AM – 12:15 P.M Pre-primary: 08:20 AM – 12:50 PM
I – XII: 07:50 AM – 02:00 PM I – XII: 08:20 AM – 02:30 PM Dress Code:
Students have to come in proper school uniform, casual dress will not be allowed.
Wednesday &Friday :(Class I-VIII )House uniform with white P.T shoes (Canvas).
Wednesday & Saturday ( Class IX – XII) House uniform with white P.T shoes (Canvas).
Girls have to come in 2 plaits with black rubber band(White rubber band on Wednesdays& Fridays )
Girls should not apply Mehandi / Nail paint in regular school days. Boys are not allowed to wear watches till V standard.
Girls and Boys should have regular nails and haircut.
Students from Class VI onwards are not supposed to come in casual dress on their birthdays. Punctuality:
Students have to reach school on time. Punctuality of your child will be appreciated. Parents are requested to escort their ward till area permitted & not to the class.
Students who are late more than 3 times in a month, will be sent back.
Parents are not allowed to meet their ward during school hours. School discourages the students to be taken home during the school hours due to security reasons.
In case of any illness, doctor’s appointment or family functions etc, half day leave must be taken before 11:30 AM. Once the attendance is marked for second half, half day leave will not be permitted to the students
It is compulsory for the parents to check the ALMANAC of their ward daily and put signatures.
Students are not allowed to bring cake, toffees, chocolates or gifts on their birthday. Students are encouraged to donate a book to the library.
Parents are welcomed to discuss their ward's academic growth and behaviour related issues with prior appointment.
Belongings:
The books & notebooks should be covered and labelled properly throughout the year otherwise correction will not be done.
The belongings of your ward (Bags, lunch box, water bottles) should be properly labelled with name and class and they should be well maintained.
ALMANAC is an important means of communication between school and parents. Hence you are requested to send ALMANAC-daily and put your initials after reading it daily.
No note should be written in notebooks. Parents can send notes only through ALMANAC.
For Classes Pre Primary Parents have to send all the books & notebooks on the very first day as these will be kept in school by the class teachers
During any event or function put labels or name tag on your ward’s belongings.
Any sort of costly pencil box or fancy items will not be allowed.
Students to carry their lunch box along with them in the morning itself, no lunch boxes will be accepted during school hours.
Students need to submit 3 Passport size photographs of (self in School uniform) and one photograph of the parent.
Attendance:
Attendance on the First and the Last working day of every term is compulsory. Parents are requested to plan their vacations according to ALMANAC and Academic Calendar.
Leave Application has to be sent for prior information via email or hardcopy. In case of emergency parents are free to call at office.
In case of absenteeism, parents are requested to get the pending work photocopied on their own. Parents can come to school before 12:00 Noon and collect subject copies of some other student, get them photocopied and return within half an hour. In any case subject copies of some other student will not be provided to be taken to home.
School almanac and parent handbook will be given to the students once at the beginning of session.
For any queries regarding their ward, parents can come and meet the class teacher on Saturdays with prior appointment.
Schedule for Saturdays:
All Saturdays will be off for the classes Pre Primary to VIII
2nd& 4th Saturday will be off for the the classes IX –XII . 1st& 3rd Saturday will be working for IX – XII
Examination Guidelines: Classes I – VIII & XI : The academic year is divided into 2 terms as per the new pattern given by
CBSE. Term 1 : Periodic Assessment & Half Yearly Exams Term 2: Periodic Assessment & Yearly Exams Class IX X &XII as per CBSE norms.
Special Guidelines for Nursery to Class I
Kindly send aprons(COMPULSORY), spoon, napkins along with lunch box and one extra pair of trouser or short daily. All items should be tagged properly.
Last but not the least, no request or application will be entertained for change of section once allotted.
Fees:
The fees should be deposited regularly for all the four quarters by 15th April, July, October and January.
Fees can be paid online or via cheque and the school copy of the fee receipt needs to be submitted to the class teacher for every quarter.
