INTRODUCTION

Banswara Syntex Ltd. is a vertically integrated textile mill manufacturing man-made synthetic blended Yarn, wool and wool mixed yarn, all type of Fabrics, Jacquard Furnishing Fabrics, besides production of Readymade Garments and Made-up's. It has also production of Technical Fabric. It was incorporated in the year 1976. It was a joint sector company with RIICO Ltd. (A Govt. of Rajasthan Undertaking) and Mr. R.L.Toshniwal. In 1982 Mr. Toshniwal purchased the shares from RIICO. Presently it is a Public Limited Company, the promoters hold 53.54% of Equity Share Capital.

BEST PRACTICES DONE

1) Energy saving in Humidification By Installing Inverter.

2) Replace Ordinary Tube rod with LED tube rod.

3) Install VFD & Replace Variator belt drive with Direct Coupling on LR 6/s ,G5/1 & Texmeco Ring Frames.

4) Fix timer on water cooler in office premises.

5) Use occupancy switch in offices.

6) Separate air pressure line for cleaning

7) Replace inefficient monoblock pumps in H-plants.

8) Replace the low efficiency motors with IE3 Motors.

Saving by Installing Inverter

In winter season we reduce the frequency of Inverter from 50 HZ to 45 Hz.

75 Nos. of inverter of different capacity have been installed in all humidification plant.

Replace Ordinary Tube rod with LED tube rod We have replace 36 watt tube rod with 19 watt LED

tube rod.

Around 4845 No of tube rod were replace in all mill.

Install VFD and replace V-belt drive to direct coupling on LR 6/s, G5/1 & Texmaco Ring Frame

We have installed around 100 no inverter on ring frame machines and made the direct coupling between motor shaft and machine shaft.

Due to this starting of motor went smooth.

Friction losses reduced due to belts and pulley removal.

Mechanical parts like “v” belt & pulley eliminated from machines. Accordingly store spare cost reduced.

Fix timer on water cooler in office premises

1) Running hours of all water cooler is reduced by 50%.

2) Due to this wastage of water is reduced.

3) Life of compressor has been increased.

4) Energy consumption also reduced by 50%.

5) Accordingly maintenance cost reduce.

Occupancy switch in office 1) It is one of the sensor that senses the motion of

human beings.

2) It can switched on and switched off the power supply by sensing the motion of human beings.

3) Extra power consumption in absence of person gets reduced by switchingoff office appliances.

Separate Air pressure line for cleaning 1) Laying separate air pipe line for cleaning.

2) Reduce cleaning pressure from 6 kg/cm² to 3 kg/cm².

3) By this wastage of Air reduced.

Use of high energy efficient pump in H-Plant Replaced inefficient 50 no. monoblock pump by high

efficiency pump.

Replacement of low energy efficient Motor of Carding M/C Replaced low efficiency 7.5KW motor 23 No. with high

energy efficiency IE3 motor on our Carding M/C.
