Smoking is not only bad for the smoker himself but also harmful to the people around.

Banning smoking is necessary to all of us.

Sometimes smoking is dangerous to our life because careless smokers may cause a fire.

2. What will you do to help ban smoking ？

I can advise my father/grandfather/family members not to smoke.

I can ask sb. to give up smoking.

ask sb. to get rid of this bad habit

I suggest that the stores shouldn’t sell cigarettes to the teenagers.

I can also tell people around me not to smoke so that the visitors can enjoy the beautiful views as well as fresh air in Shanghai.

Last but not least, banning smoking during the Expo is beneficial to/good for all of us.
