This interactive session will show you the wide range of possibilities available to you if you decide to learn more languages. Delivered by Signature Leather and Student Languages Ambassadors. Dispel the myths about Chinese calligraphy! Come and have a go at writing with a brush and write your own name in Chinese. Delivered by Bangor Confucius Institute. An interactive presentation on the European Union, including an introduction to the EU's work placement programme, and a short fun quiz with prizes. Delivered by Europe Direct. Euro-Quiz Nameless Dance Taster Sessions Ready to show the world what you know about Europe? Prepare your group (up to four persons) and join the quiz! Delivered by Bangor University / Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. Whether you are good at dancing or not, you’ll enjoy this introductory session: have fun! Delivered by Bangor Confucius Institute. Please ensure you have received appropriate parental permission, and let us know on the morning of Wales, Europe and the World Wales, Europe and the World helps your pupils to find out more about working, studying and travelling in Europe and beyond. They’ll also learn how speaking another language can enable them to get the most out of the experience. Open their eyes to a world of opportunity… This FREE one-day fair will offer a range of information sessions and workshops aimed at 14-16 year- olds , featuring games, dance, careers, language tasters and useful information about studying and working in Wales or abroad. A FREE lunch will be provided. Wales, Europe and the World will be ideal for those students who have embarked or are about to embark on Welsh Baccalaureate courses, but all pupils attending are sure to broaden their horizons, and will leave with a greater awareness of what it means to be a European and global citizen.

Language Games Routes into Languages Cymru can help you! The Matching Game

Three interactive workshops enabling pupils to practise German, Italian and Spanish whilst having great fun.Delivered by Bangor University students.

This session will showcase the resources that Routes into Languages Cymru has produced. Teachers will have the opportunity to hear about the different events and activities that are on offer and will discover how Routes Cymru can support their promotion of languages in schools and colleges. Delivered by the Routes into Languages Cymru team.

Work in teams to help identify brands with countries. Learn about the importance of languages in the business world. Delivered by Goethe Institut.

How to book

beyond. They’ll also learn how speaking another language can enable them to get

This FREE one-day fair will offer a range of information sessions and workshops aimed at 14-16 year-olds, featuring games, dance,

careers, language tasters and useful information about studying and working in

Wales or abroad. A FREE lunch will be provided.

Wales, Europe and the World will be ideal for those students who have embarked or

are about to embark on Welsh Baccalaureate courses, but all pupils attending are sure to broaden their

horizons, and will leave with a greater awareness of what it means to be a

Mae Cymru, Ewrop a’r Byd yn helpu’ch disgyblion i ddarganfod mwy ynghylch

gweithio, astudio a theithio yn Ewrop a thu hwnt. Byddant hefyd yn dysgu sut y gall

siarad iaith arall eu galluogi i gael y mwyaf o’r profiad. Agorwch eu llygaid i fyd o

gyfleoedd… Bydd y ffair ac arddangosfa undydd hwn, sydd YN RHAD AC AM DDIM,

hefyd yn cynnig amrywiaeth o sesiynau gwybodaeth a gweithdai ar gyfer pobl ifanc

14-16 mlwydd oed, gan gynnwys gemau, dawns, gyrfaoedd, sesiynau blasu iaith a

gwybodaeth ddefnyddiol ynglŷn ag astudio a gweithio yng Nghymru neu dramor. Fe
