13th to 19th February 2014 at "ADHIM" Kalakshetra. Kolar District. The journey towards
"ADHlM" Kalakshetra Started from over college by hosting flag by our honorable principal
Mr.Chandramouli A.S. After flag hoisting meeting of volunteers is held regards the plans anci
purpose of the camp.

National integration camp & lnter-state youthexchange programme.
Date: 02nd to 09th Feb. 2014
Surana College NSS unit collaborated with Bangalore University organized
National integration camp & Interstate youth exchange programme. In this camp
state like Orissa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Bangalore universiry
volunteers are participated
Our college contributed Rs. 40,000 worth bus facility for local
trip, note book, pen, file, ID card, banner, flex & Invitation card etc., was given to
140 volunteer. Our college NSS Program officer Girisha.K along with four
volunteers namely BharthNaik, Manojavam .H.M, Govind Singh .P, from Bcom
final year and one girl from B.A Noor Johan participated.
During the camp local trip was organized .facultiesSrikanth from dept. ofhistory and Karthika from dept. of economics participated, guided volunteers and

STORY -FIELD CAMPAIGN
NSS volunteers participated in the "story field campaign which
orgarized by "Youth for Seva" held on 23rd July 2017. The
campaign was a platform to motivate children by narrating story of
Mr. P. K. Mahanandia, a renowned painter from Odisha. Our
explained the moral stories and value of life to children. This event
got huge success.

The National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) observes the Communal
,ony campaign Week every year from 1g'n to 25* November. The last working day of this
is celebrated as Flag Day o? t-r'" Foundation. Accordingly this year also the Foundation will
ve the Communat Hirmony Campaign Week from 19'n to 25*n November and the Flag Day
observed on24'n November 20i 5 onTuesday. While the Flag Day spreads the message of
runal harmony and national integration, it is also utilized for fund raising to augment the

Annexure
Steps to be taken for observing the Communal Harmony Campaign and the Flag Day
The following steps are required to be taken for observance of the Communal HarmonyCampaign by the institutions:
(i) To do intensive campaigning and provide wide publicity for sensitizing the staff andstudents about the need for fostering communal harmony, national integration andfraternity through cultural programmes, debates, seminars, workshops, essaycompetitions, painting competitions etc.
(ii) To make arrangements for circulation of fund collection boxes -wooden, plastic or metallicboxes may be improvised with suitable openings to insertthe donation.
(iii) To select volunteers from amongst staff and students to station themselves at the entranceand other vantage points and go around the institution/school/office buildings on the FlagDayfordistribution of flag stickers and collection of voluntary donation.
vrv) To make suitable arrangements for proper security of collection boxes, opening them,counting the amount so collected and sending to NFCH.
(v) Remittance of funds so collected should be made through Demand Drafts/chequeto the Secreta for Cornmunal Harmon 9'n Floor,'C' Wing,
avan, Khan Market, New Delhi-11 003.
(vi) Bank Draft should be sent through registered/ordinary post and not by courier.Alternatively donation can also be made by direct bank transfer from anywhere in lndia,utilizing the following information :
