It is expected that all band parents/legal guardians who have a student enrolled in the music program will be

able to volunteer in some capacity.

Executive Positions:

We are in need of several positions filled on our Music Parent Association Executive. The responsibilities

include one meeting per month (generally on the first Monday of each month) and coordinating some activities

with Mr. Mailman throughout the year. Without this important work, the music program cannot provide all of

the activities and opportunities that has come to be expected of a high quality music program.

Volunteers are also needed for other events throughout the year, e.g. parent chaperones on day trips or

extended overnight trips, helpers during fundraisers, etc. If you are willing to help out in this capacity, please

put your name(s) down below. Whenever volunteers are needed, our Volunteer Coordinator will use this list to

find willing bodies. You will likely not be called upon more than once, unless you wish to be. If you are

interested in volunteering for a particular event, please write it in above, or let the Volunteer Coordinator know!

Please note that you will need to have a security clearance through the school office to work as a parent

chaperone or in any position working directly with students. Please make sure you have this clearance before

accepting these volunteer positions.
