Installation- Duro-design Bamboo flooring must be allowed to acclimate on-site a minium of 72 hours in advance of installation. Optimum conditions are 70 degrees Fahrenheit at 30-50% humidity.

- Underlayment grade plywood and man-made board substance must be clean, level, dry and free of contaminations. Optimum results will be achieved through use of 3/4" CDX plywood. The moisturecontent of the subfloor must not exceed 14% and no more than 4% above or below the moisture con-tent of the flooring.If installing on concrete, slab must be properly cured and tested for moisture content. Concrete is required to be sound, smooth, level and flat with a maximum variation of 1/8" in 10'. Vapor pressure must not exceed 3lbs per 1000sf in a 24 hour period using the standard calcium chloride test.

- Duro-design solid bamboo can be either nailed down with fasteners every 8 inches (do not use staples)or glued down with the Bostik Best adhesive (do not use other adhesives).

Your bam-boo flooring is a long-term investment since in most cases with hard surfaces flooring, when the houseis sold and/or redecorated, the floor will remain.NNeecceessssaarryy SStteeppss ttoo PPrrootteecctt yyoouurr BBaammbboooo FFlloooorr• To help eliminate fine particles of dirt/grit that act like sandpaper and will scratch any floor, vacuum or sweep as needed. • Spills should be wiped up immediately. • Use walk-off mats at entrance doors and in front of kitchen sink. Avoid rubber backed or other non-ventilated mats or rugs. • In the kitchen, use a rug in front of the working areas such as in front of the stove and sink

to prevent local premature damage. • Install proper protectors under "feet" of furniture. • Caster wheeled chairs should have wide casters. • Periodically check bamboo floor for signs of wear. • High heels! Due to the concentration of weight on such a small surface, an average size woman in high heels can exert

2000 pounds per square inch of pressure on the floor that could possibly indent the floors permanently.

WarrantyWe offer a 25 year structural warranty for bamboo flooring for delamination, separation or buckling as aresult of a defect of manufacturing from the date of sale. We offer a 5 year finish warranty for our pre-finished bamboo flooring for normal wear and tear as long astwo coats of our MP765 water-base polyurethane is applied once a year for high traffic retail, once everytwo to three years for low to medium commercial traffic and five to seven years for residential bambooflooring applications. This is a simple operation (i.e. light manual scuff sand with a #180 grit paper)which takes a couple of hours to do with overnight drying. A well maintained floor will last for decades.
