Objectives: At the end of this lesson:Students will analyze the nativist response to

the influx of immigrants to the United States by examining primary sources, picture, and cartoons

Students will describe the effect of nativism on immigrants by synthesizing primary source data and creating a pamphlet attacking the immigrants of a journal entry written by an immigrant

Dialogue: Write a dialogue between 2 nativists arguing all of the reasons that immigration out to be restrictedc. Speech: Create and perform a speech by a nativist politician outlining all of the problems with allowing immigration to continue
