TO THE CONTRACT DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE REFERENCED PROJECT, DATED March 13, 2017, AS PREPARED BY GRIMM AND PARKER ARCHITECTS, 11720 BELTSVILLE DRIVE, SUITE 600, CALVERTON, MD 20705.

This Addendum includes changes and clarifications to the Contract Documents. This information includes the following:

ITEM NO. BID RFI-01 For the photovoltaic trackers, is there consideration for wind loads and mounting in framework of the buildings for trackers? Response Each school has one dual axis tracker specified. The Solar Contractor must review building structural design and provide shop drawings stamped by a Structural Engineer licensed in the State of Maryland. Refer to specification 26 51 22 for submittal requirements.

ITEM NO. BID RFI-02 In Addendum 1 of this rebid, item #534 regarding spec section 265561 indicates that there was a revision to the section 2.6/E. "Fixtures to be supplied with pole operated pan/tilt mount." This feature is not available on the type of fixture spec’d. Please advise. Response Refer to response to Bid RFI -07 following.

ITEM NO. BID RFI-03 Please see the attached substitution request for lighting control systems and network lighting systems. Response This substitution request is denied. The request did not follow the requirements in the spec.

ITEM NO. BID RFI-04 The following sections in the project manual state Infrared Thermography as a requirement to final acceptance testing at varying intervals:

BID RFI-05 Drawings E-0.3G and E-0.3H show various options on how to get temporary power to the temporary modular classroom trailers. Without knowing how BGE will want the contractor to install the temporary power, can the owner provide a cost allowance to be carried for the temporary power for the modular classroom trailers? Response Cost allowance will not be provided. ITEM NO. BID RFI-06 Section 11-61-42 Platform Curtains:

a. Is there a curtain Schedule? b. Is there a drawing that shows the pipe grid layout?

Response There is no curtain schedule or a pipe grid layout drawing. ITEM NO. BID RFI-07 Section 26-55-61 Theatrical Lighting Systems:

a. Section 2.6/E – Provide four fixtures. Fixtures to be supplied with pole operated pan/tilt mount. Are you looking for automated intelligent moving lights? If not, is manual pan/tilt mount OK? Please provide example of what you are looking for. Or is the Martin Light spec’d preferred?

Response Clarification: The specification stays as written. Manual pan/tilt mount is preferred. Litepanels and Desisti are two manufacturers that provide yokes on which the specified lights are mounted. ITEM NO. BID RFI-08 Please verify that the proscenium around the stage opening is plastic laminate panels and not painted gyp board, as shown at the proscenium bulkhead detail D20, on new drawing A5.6 from Addendum #1. Response The proscenium around the platform opening on the Multipurpose Room side is plastic laminate panels on sheathing (not painted gypsum board) as shown on detail A15/a-7.7. The proscenium bulkhead detail D20/A-5.6 has been revised to reflect this coordination in this Addendum (see Sketch SK-A-5.1). ITEM NO. Response The note in E 0.3G does not apply since the building is not sprinklered and can be deleted. ITEM NO. BID RFI-16 Please answer the following food service questions:

• Item #22- The specified model has been discontinued. Please provide new specification.
