Alignment

State and beyond – none! District with National Associations

– District TOYs (Teachers of the Year)

– Receive from Alliance and review for District winners

– District winners vie for National TOYs

District with AAHPERD– We have representative on committee

– Our Executive Board tries to nominate and support at least one individual for each award (done at this board meeting.)

Your role – AAHPERD Recognition Awards Council members

– Make recommendations to Executive Board for Alliance Recognition awards

– Encourage your states to nominate individuals for all Alliance Awards

E-Board – Nominate district members for all awards– Write letters of support for those nominated,

after securing their permission and applications

Association applications and send to Alliance Association by Oct. 15
