Ball Charter IMSA Fusion Requirements

• IMSA Fusion members will attend after-school session every Tuesday school is in session from 3:30-5:30pm.

  • An IMSA Fusion student fee of $100.00 is required. The

fees cover t-shirt, field trips and special projects.

•All rules in the Ball Charter Student Handbook still apply to the IMSA Fusion program. Students are expected to maintain appropriate behavior throughout their participation in the IMSA Fusion program. Failure to do so may result in removal from the program. 

•Attendance is a crucial component of the program. Therefore, IMSA Fusion members will only be allowed two unexcused absences. Upon a third unexcused absence, the IMSA Fusion member will be removed and the student next on the waiting list will enter. Unexcused absences include:

o Practices for sports. Coaches and teachers of the IMSA Fusion program have an understanding that students who are in a sport in addition to IMSA Fusion will attend IMSA Fusion in place of a practice (if there is a conflict) and miss IMSA Fusion on days there is a game (if there is a conflict). Attending a practice under this agreement would constitute an unexcused absence.

o Not attending IMSA Fusion, but was in attendance at school that day.o Doctors appointments, dentist appointments, etc. Please make every

effort to reschedule these. If there is no way to do so, please contact the IMSA Fusion teachers prior to the scheduled absence.

o No ride home.o Other responsibilities outside of school including babysitting.

•If a student is removed from the IMSA Fusion program for any reason, a refund for the first and second semester will be given if removed prior to November 1st and a 50% refund will be given if it is after November 1st and prior to February 1st, 2011. Otherwise, all fees are forfeited.

Application Process for 6/7/8

• Application packets are due to either Miss Kohlrus or Mrs. Cluck no later than September 18th. Only applications that are completed in full will be considered.

• Acceptance letters will be handed out by September 24th.

• Returning student forms are also due by September 18th.

• The first after-school IMSA E2K+ session will be October 2nd.
