• With the included Smart Touch functionality you can create and configure scanning tasks that can be used at the touch of a button.

With Smart Touch you simply:– Put documents in the scanner– Using the Control Panel select the document or job

type.– Then based on how the scanning task was conjured,

Smart Touch will take the appropriate action.• This is useful for managing job definitional and actions

based on:– A helpful custom Job Name and message line can be

added to prompt users to take additional actions based on the documents being scanned.

– Where the file needs to be sent.– In what format the file is to be saved.– Scanner settings, ie: Color, B&W, 200/300/dpi
