Compensation and partition :

Compensation eg: Agadir crisis: Agadir was a port in Morocco. French had their design to capture Morocco and tey time had got Britain’s support. At that Germany made its claim on Morocco. Morrocco was ruled by autocratic ruler, which led torebellion in Morocco. This was taken by French as a pretext to gcapture Morocco. But then Germany captured this port from Germany. Germany said they would withdraw from the port if French compensate. French compensated using giving off soe regions of Congo.

Veitnam division, Korea partition us and USSR wanted their allies so partition happened.

Intervention and non-Intervention as a method to maintan bal of power:

American intervention to US , Cuba, Lavos, Kuwait, etc. Soviet intervention in Afgan
