REUSE RECYCLE

It is Word Environment Day! Lets do our bit to keep our surroundings clean. We should send all recyclable and unwanted waste products to recycling centres. We can also throw these items into coloured bins. Brown bin is for glass and bottles, blues is for paper, books and newspaper and orange is for all kinds of metal. We should encourage recycling to save the world and make it a better place to live in

GROWING PLANTS

The banana plant is a useful plant. It is not a tree. It does not have a woody trunk. It has green leaves that are long and wide. The leaves are used to wrap local cakes and nasi lemak. Indian restaurants serve rice on banana leaves. They give a special flavour to the food. Bananas are eaten raw. Some are not so sweet. These are also used to make cakes and banana chips.
