SUMMARY: The “alien” in Justin’s backpack is not like an ugly little big eyed green creature. But rather a human looking girl who’s eyes are naturally a stellar blue. Her family and her were flying to another planet but happened to crash on Earth and “alien girl” was the only one to survive. Instead of a legit backpack I have Justin’s home symbolize a backpack (to protect; and or keep safe; and/or store safely). This is a love story, the ending doesn’t follow the lyrics exactly but I hope you like my twist ending.

This script did get into Brad’s hands and he promised to read it and even DMed me that he would but have not heard from since. I got this script to him during the LA Believe Movie Meetup; I tried to get it to Scooter who dismissed me nicely by telling me that there was already a Backpack video. I did not write this to gleam benefits or anything of that type.

I love to write and literally when I listened to the song this vision/story automatically came so I wrote it out.

HOW TO READ: The left hand column explains my vision for the time frame indicated in blue on the right hand column. Its pretty straight forward. Vision on left, Time Frame, Lyrics, Narration, and FX on Right!

1. Opening scene- “alien girl’s” space ship

is flying from 0:00-0:04 at 0:04 the

spaceship crashes. Big explosion but fire

would be different colors such as green and

blue

0:00 – 0:08

2.) This scene will be very fast paced so the

shots will get quicker. There will be two

different shots. The first shot will be a

close up on just Justin’s eyes, through his

eyes we will watch the news telecasters

0:08-0:20

talking about the crash. The second shot

will be of “alien girl” running away from

her crash site into a residential area. (her

eyes will glow blue to establish not from

this planet). It will alternate between these

two shots until the next scene.

3.) This will be a quick short scene of

Justin looking away from the news and

getting up to answer the door to a beautiful

girl soaked in rain (her eyes will light up

blue for a quick second to indicate that she

is not human then return to a normal color)

0:20-0:22

4.) This shot will pan quickly from her toes

to her face where the girl will be mouthing

to Justin that “she comes in peace”. She

looks lost and cold so Justin lets her inside

his house. The next shot would be of Justin

giving her soup (alien girl can look at silver

ware and food funny as if she is not sure

how to use/eat it). It then shows a shot of

Justin and alien girl standing in his room

and Justin handing her woman clothes,

Justin then touches a bright blue crystal on

a chain around her neck.

You said "I come in peace", so I took you

home.

I gave you food and I gave you clothes.

5.) We will do a pan shot starting from an

old record player and at a normal pace pan

from the record player to Justin trying to

teach “alien girl” to dance. (Cute laughs

from them to indicate fun) The shot will

quickly change to “alien girl” looking out

window and towards the sky longingly and

I taught you how to move your feet when

the rhythm's on.

Still you wanna leave cause you feel alone

0:30-0:36

Justin walking up behind her and looking

towards where her eyes are aimed and then

quickly back down to her face in

understanding.

6.) This part Justin will actually be singing

to the lyrics to her while performing this

scene. Here will be a close up on both of

their faces and Justin gently grabbing her

chin to force her to look at him. At 0:40 she

forces her chin out of his hands and looks

back out the window, places hand gently on

glass, her eyes light up blue to indicate a

calling from her spaceship and stay blue.

You don't know what they're like if they

They're gonna try to take away the secrets

of your planet's life.

7.) Justin grabs her shoulders and turns her

fully towards him. She looks dead and lost

and her eyes are still bright blue. He looks

deep into her eyes. Looks almost desperate

to make her understand, At 0:45 her eyes

turn back to normal and she slumps into his

arms and he pulls her into a hug.

family in a wreck

8.) Here Justin is whispering the lyrics into

“alien girls” ear. This will be a close up on

the back of her head and his lips against her

ear (can be cute affection such as back

rubbing and head kisses)

9.) Here will be a half body shot of Justin

still in embrace with “alien girl” and him

singing the lyrics out loud to her. As if he

is stating a wish out loud. (Backpack will

be used as a metaphor. His house is her

backpack. Symbolic. To keep safe and

10.) This shot will be a low angle shot

looking up towards them… “alien girl” will

pull slightly away from Justin and Justin

will look down into her eyes as she sings

the next set of lyrics. At 1:06-1:08, “alien

girl” will look towards window and then

back towards Justin. From 1:09-1:12 she

will be shaking her head as she sings.

1:03-1:15

11.) In this shot we will be looking at a

door briefly that is slightly open and we

will see Justin on his bed looking down at a

photo. It will quickly switch to his view

where we will see a picture of a girl and

Justin laughing (in the picture the girl will

be wearing the same outfit that Justin gave

“alien girl” in beginning of video.) Justin

will notice that he is being watched and

quickly put away picture before he smiles

and walks towards “alien girl”

1:16-1:22

12.) It will switch to a scene of Justin and

“alien girl” taking a walk and them

laughing and joking around. Starting at

1:24, there will be a close up of Justin and

“alien girl” she would be smiling at him

and he looks down at her lips and at 1:26

he tries to go in for a kiss but he notices her

eyes light up bright blue, so he starts to

panic.

13.) Then her eyes return to normal and he

relaxes but then she rips out of his arms

You don't know what they're like if they

and starts running in the opposite direction

and he follows her. It will be scenes of her

running and him following close behind

until they wind up back at his house and

she stops at the passenger door of his

fisker.

They're gonna try to take away the secrets

1:30-1:35

14.) In this shot it will show “alien girl”

pleading with her eyes for Justin to drive

her. It will then go to Justin

contemplating…it will alternate a couple

times before Justin gives in and they get in

the car.

1:35-1:41

15.) This will be a scene of Justin driving

really fast on a deserted highway

surrounded by a desert or deserted land and

he keeps looking at “alien girl” whose eyes

keep growing bluer the closer they get to

the crash site. There can be some inside car

scenes to show Justin’s nervousness and

“alien girl’s” state and also outside to

show how fast he is going and the terrain.

1:42-1:55

16.) In this scene “alien girl” will tell Justin

to pull over and they get out and look

towards the crash site that is milling with

government officials. There will be a low

angle shot of them looking at each other

briefly with hope and determination. Then

it will quickly change to a close up of their

hands clasping together before they take off

running towards the crash site.

1:56-2:09

17.) In this scene we’ll have Lil Wayne Uh, greetings, I fell from the sky

looking like an alien and floating around

outer space and singing in the sky (like in

Katy Perry’s ET)

I'm from a different world, I use Lil Wayne

as a disguise

And my flying saucer crashed, I'm the only

one that survived

I've only taken over this planet since I've

arrived

2:10-2:22

18.) This shot will switch from Lil Wayne

to Justin and “alien girl” running behind a

building/van/ basically dodging the

government officials and looking nervously

towards each other. At 2:26 , It will switch

back to Lil Wayne in the sky to finish his

part.

2:22-2:34

19.) This scene will be quick transitions of

Justin and “alien girl” on the news, they

will be seen running into the crash site but

instead of regular high quality camera it

will be seen through grainy security

cameras. “alien girl” will accidentally look

towards security camera where it will pick

up her glowing eyes.

2:34-2:47

20.) In this scene Justin and “alien girl” are

booking it towards her spaceship but are

2:48-3:02

spotted by govt. officials. One of them

grabs “alien girl” and she cries out. Justin

goes and punches him while ushering

“alien girl” forward. Justin continues

fighting off and back the govt. officials

until they are close enough to the ship…

then “alien girl” grabs his arm and pulls

him onto the spaceship.

21.) “Alien girl” pushes Justin towards a

seat and he buckles in while she messes

with the control board. We hear banging on

the spaceship and a scene of a govt. official

aiming a gun at space girl. But then she hits

a button that brings the spaceship to life

and they disappear up into the sky.

3:03-3:16

22.) They’re now in space and Justin is

looking out at all the stars and planets

while “alien girl fiddles with buttons and

dials.




3:17-3:23

23.) Finally she pushes a button and there

is a shot of the spaceship from outside.

they’re at a stand still but then in a blink of

an eye race off at light speed and wind up

docking in another planet. Justin and “alien

girl” get off and embrace each other. There

will be a close up where the kiss briefly

and then smile at each other. It will then

show just “alien girls” face and she has

unnaturally blue eyes and looks completely

perfect.

3:23-3:32

24.) It will then pan across a futuristic 3:33-3:35

landscape and show many of “alien girl’s”

kind coming out and observing them. One

of the “aliens” stand out (can be a queen or

a king) but he/she approaches them…

25.) Here the scene will be of “alien

king/queen” sing/talking the lyrics. With

open arms the king/queen indicates his/her

people and how peaceful they are. He/she

then touches Justin and “alien girls”

shoulders to indicate how they are in love

and how their people don’t take it for

granted, Justin and alien girl smile at each

other.

In our planet we don't kill one another

3:36-3:48

26.) Here the scene will be of “alien

king/queen” sing/talking the lyrics. From

here king/queen will be shown pulling back

“alien girl” from Justin and he looks

confused but she starts panicking knowing

that king/queen is forcing him away. It will

then show the king/queen thrusting his

hand out and Justin being blasted back

towards Earth. It will quickly switch to his

POV and him seeing “alien girl” screaming

NO.

3:48-4:00

27.) Justin will wake up sweating and

scared in bed but then he relaxes thinking

its all a dream. He lifts his arm to run a

hand through his hair when he realizes that

there is something is his hand. There will

be a close up shot of his hand…He opens

up his hand to see “alien girls” blue crystal

4:00- till end and few seconds after.

down at his palm but quickly looks up

directly into the camera with a knowing

look, the video will then blink out like a tv

being turned off and video then ends
